The role You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company while contributing to the growth and development of LB’s accounting function. This includes ensuring the timely preparation and maintenance of the general ledger for LB’s selected entities. In addition, you will play a key role in driving the enhancement and implementation of accounting best practices across all operating entities. Main responsibilities : Group Consolidation and audit: Preparation of monthly group consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS. Review monthly management accounts for certain group entities to ensure accuracy, compliance with SFRS, and adherence to Group policies. Ensure the timely submission of financial data by each entity, providing support and guidance when necessary. Perform group-level analysis, including variance analysis, and provide insights to management on financial performance. Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with SFRS and the timely completion of audits for group consolidated statements and local statutory accounts. Process Improvement & Best Practices: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with SFRS. Drive the automation of manual processes and foster a continuous improvement mindset. Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance policies, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. System Migration Support: Lead SAP data clean-up activities for certain group entities, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve open items and ensure data integrity. Team Leadership & Guidance: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of juniors, providing coaching on accounting best practices, technical knowledge, and professional growth. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, in particular Strategic Finance and Operations. Others: Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
