Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law (m/f/d)

As a Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law at Honeywell, in Poland,Warshaw, you will be responsible for providing strategic and day-to-day labour and employment law advice across Eastern Europe and META (Middle East, Turkey and Israel).This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Core Accountabilities

• Lead strategic employment law advice for business and HR leaders, balancing legal risk, employee considerations and commercial objectives.
• Drive implementation of company initiatives and strengthen compliance with applicable law and internal policies across the region.
• Prevent and manage employment disputes and litigation, including oversight of external counsel, strategy, cost and outcomes.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and post-acquisition integration to identify risk and enable effective execution.
• Provide legal leadership for national and local consultation, negotiation and collective labour processes.
• Build capability within HR and the business through clear guidance, training and scalable risk-management solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Qualified lawyer with at least eight years’ employment law dedicated experience advising multinational organisations, including substantial in-house experience.
• Strong command of EU employment law and demonstrable experience across Eastern European jurisdictions.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders in a multinational environment.

Preferred

• Experience advising across META jurisdictions and navigating cross-border employment matters.
• Fluency in an additional language relevant to the region.

• Demonstrates sound judgement, integrity and consistently high ethical standards.
• Travels within the region and internationally as business needs require.
