About the Role: Olive & June is looking for an Assistant Manager of Retention Marketing to own execution across our email and SMS channels while taking strategic ownership of our retention programs. This is a high-visibility role on a fast-moving team. You’ll be a key driver of how we keep customers engaged, coming back, and deepening their relationship with the brand. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing & CRM and work closely with the creative team, ecommerce team, and data partners to build strategy and programs that move the needle. Email & SMS Execution End-to-end campaign management across email and SMS: briefing, scheduling, QA, segmentation, and deployment Day-to-day management of Klaviyo, including flows, segments, and list health Campaign performance tracking and weekly reporting with clear, actionable takeaways A/B test ideation, execution, and documentation of learnings Retention Program Strategy Strategic ownership of loyalty, referral, and membership programs - identifying opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and LTV Cross-functional collaboration to align program mechanics with broader brand and business goals Ongoing analysis of program health with recommendations for optimization Key Performance Indicators: Channel Performance Email and SMS revenue, revenue per recipient, and engagement vs. benchmarks Flow performance across the full customer lifecycle, with ongoing optimization toward conversion and LTV List health metrics including deliverability, unsubscribe rate, and opt-in growth Retention Program Health Loyalty program adoption, growth, engagement, and redemption rates Referral program conversion and new customer acquisition contribution Membership retention, churn, and revenue impact What Success Looks Like Within 90 days: fully ramped on channel execution, contributing to the campaign calendar strategy and producing weekly reporting independently Within 6 months: owning the retention program campaign calendar end-to-end and driving measurable improvements to at least one retention program through data-backed strategy and testing Within 12 months: demonstrable impact on repeat purchase rate and LTV across owned channels Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields 2-3 years of retention marketing experience, with hands-on email and SMS execution at the core Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo (or comparable ESP) Demonstrated ability to own a program end-to-end, from strategy through analysis Strong analytical skills and ability to easily translate data into actionable insights; comfortable communicating performance insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders Experience with loyalty, referral, or membership programs Highly organized and able to manage competing demands while adhering to deadlines DTC or ecommerce background preferred Company Benefits 401k matching program Competitive healthcare / dental care packages offered Flexible vacation policy Remote-first
