Why you’re here You are an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working as part of a team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you are eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects. You have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for the construction industry. What you’re responsible for As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the coordination and management of all project phases, including planning, execution, and closeout. Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project goals and deadlines are met. Assisting in preparing project schedules, budgets, and work plans. Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and updating project documentation. Supporting procurement efforts, including tracking materials and equipment deliveries. Helping to manage subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Conducting site visits to aid with inspections, meetings, and quality control activities. Helping to address any issues or changes that arise during construction, ensuring timely resolutions. Preparing and distributing regular project status reports to stakeholders. Aiding with the project financials, including invoice approvals and budget tracking. Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices. Your Experience & sills A University degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in construction, project management, or a similar role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Ability to use project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools. Basic understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety standards. Ability to work on-site as needed and attend project meetings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
