Synopsis

  • Contract until November 2028
  • $101,498 + 12% Superannuation

About The Role

Join a high-profile precinct renewal program and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects that will help shape the future of Melbourne.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will provide project coordination, project management and administrative support across a range of renewal initiatives. Working closely with the Principal Project Manager and key stakeholders, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of project activities and deliverables.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated project professional looking to further develop their project management career while working on complex and meaningful projects within a collaborative team environment.

  • Support the delivery of precinct renewal projects through effective project coordination and administration.
  • Coordinate project activities across the Precinct Renewal, City Projects and broader project teams.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials and project updates.

About You

You are an organised and proactive professional with experience supporting projects in a coordination or project management capacity. You have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What Your Experience Might Look Like

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant Assistant Project Manager/Contract Administration experience within construction, architecture and/or engineering.
  • Experience creating, updating and managing schedules using MS Project.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills, with the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and ensure matters are handled in a timely and professional manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
