What you’ll be doing...
The Associate Director of Home Execution for Consumer Segment Marketing will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution and delivery of the product suite for the Home and Emerging Growth Organization. These projects will impact all consumer touchpoints and will cover advancements to pricing, value proposition, promotion, base engagement and loyalty programs, and new product developments and launches. This role will have accountability for carrying the strategic intent of each initiative through from solution scoping and CX/UX design through development, systems integration and GTM execution. This is a leadership role for a high-impact team focused on delivering the solutions that will enable VCG growth initiatives and subscriber and revenue plans.
You will be a solution-oriented, dynamic leader, who can think creatively to leverage a deep understanding of systems and a pragmatic partnership approach to influence stakeholder groups to implement solutions that deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and prospects. This leader will work collaboratively across the Growth & Revenue Organization’s extended cross functional team including segment, base, and product marketing strategy, design, omni CX, technology systems and product development, 3rd party content partners, customer service, and more.
The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, have strong knowledge of VZ systems, strong project management skills, ability to cross-functionally lead teams and a desire to be involved with highly visible programs from concept to execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Spearhead innovation and strategic direction by guiding the team tasked with executing high-profile programs across pricing strategies, value propositions, promotional efforts, base retention loyalty initiatives, and rollout of new products across Verizon Fiber, FWA, Copper, and Converged Mobile & Home marketing efforts
- Partner with relevant strategy teams to design, implement and maintain key initiatives used to differentiate Verizon from our competition, and drive the E2E execution strategy across GTS, Design, Omni CX (including Customer Service & Sales impacts), Revenue Assurance, Testing and external partner integrations
- Stakeholder in prioritizing competing initiatives to ensure we are delivering the right projects at the right time while focusing on maintaining fiscal responsibility
- Prioritize critical MVP items to deliver the E2E Execution initiatives that differentiate us from the competition in ways that make customers want to do business with Verizon because we put their needs first.
- Lead the team with Empathy & Vision to celebrate wins as a team and support each other
- Drive new ideas through consistent examination of our ways of working.
- Use AI to integrate and improve operational efficiency
- Lead and collaborate with large cross functional teams through PODS & ACTs, understand capabilities and constraints related to all channels of the business to focus on how projects can be delivered with greater efficiency..
- Directly lead a diverse team of managers, and cross-functionally steer the broader organizations involved in GTM delivery for Verizon Fios and other wireline initiatives across value prop, product, promotions and more
- Perform rigorous project management activities and with a high sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain and manage project prioritization within the Growth and Revenue Organization portfolio, ensuring key CX, UX, GTS and RA stakeholders get early and consistent visibility
- Oversee testing in CRO-led execution initiatives in partnership w/ GTS, PMO, RA and other teams
- Act as subject matter expert for the Consumer Segment Marketing team and all GRO cross-functional teams
- Support reference data tables, PCR and SWAT delivery for nimble execution of all pricing and promotional initiatives
- Manage key milestones and deliverables to ensure on time implementation and post-launch issue resolution
- Perform CX assessment for all customer interactions and provide input on CX/UX designs & their impacts on business results
- Effectively lead a team that manages projects through the VZLaunch process to operationalize initiatives
- Collaborate with GTM & L&D teams on all aspects of training, launch elements, internal, external and field communications
- Write and Review business requirements, pertaining to new pricing initiatives, to ensure accurate build and execution
- Champion new value proposition and pricing ideas and determine high level feasibility
- Understand the business case for proposed value propositions, promotions, and new products, and how they impact Verizon, as well as supporting the operational impacts of our execution strategies and outputs
- Evaluate opportunities to enhance current programs, as well as, create new opportunities for differentiation

You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Knowledge of Verizon systems and operational, GTS (JIRA, user stories, Agile, APEX) and network processes
- Experience writing marketing and technical requirements
- Experience in cross-functional management and operating in multi-stakeholder environment, managing multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Demonstrated performance in a matrixed, consensus-based organization where successful collaboration and communication are required at all levels
- History in creating a positive, growth-oriented team culture, where individual contributors thrive and continuously improve their skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- 10+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated strong managerial skills. MBA and/or technical degree highly desired.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
