POSITION SUMMARY Supports the Auditing team in executing risk-based and required assurance engagements. Executes data testing procedures, prepares documentation, and contributes to the evaluation of internal controls while gaining foundational knowledge and experience. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Executes data-driven testing procedures under the direction and supervision of experienced team members, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Responsible for the quality, accuracy of results and delivery of analytics Evaluates data quality issues and identifies potential exceptions or inefficient practices for root causes. Proposes advice and recommendations for achievable solutions. Clearly articulates data testing strategies in terms that are accessible and understandable to audit peers Develops an understanding of internal controls, risk management, and governance practices so that recommendations are aligned with standards Builds professional relationships with team members and internal stakeholders. Actively engages in learning and development opportunities to build core analytical skills. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar field. Experience using SQL, Python or other data query languages Previous internship experience, preferred One or more of the following areas are preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CFA, or other certifications related to data. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time This position is based in our Chicago Corporate office and is a hybrid position with a 65 day remote-day bank.
