We are seeking an Associate Business Analyst to support Digital Transformation initiatives across the enterprise. In this role, you will assist with discovery, documentation, process analysis, requirements gathering, intake tracking, and solution evaluation activities that help business and technology partners better understand needs, explore improvement opportunities, and move ideas through the appropriate review and governance processes.
The Associate Business Analyst will work closely with senior team members, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to document current-state processes, identify pain points, support future-state recommendations, and prepare clear materials for review. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, curious, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how business analysis, process improvement, technology governance, AI, automation, and digital transformation come together in a complex enterprise environment.
This is an early-career role for someone with demonstrated hands-on experience supporting analysis, documentation, coordination, or process improvement work in a professional or project-based environment. The Associate Business Analyst will contribute to meaningful enterprise initiatives while continuing to build the skills and experience needed to take on increasingly complex analysis responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Do
Digital Transformation Discovery & Analysis Support
Support discovery activities for Digital Transformation opportunities, including gathering background information, preparing interview or workshop notes, and documenting business needs.
Assist with analyzing business challenges, pain points, manual processes, and improvement opportunities under the guidance of senior team members.
Help translate stakeholder input into clear summaries, problem statements, requirements, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
Contribute to early analysis of opportunities involving automation, analytics, workflow improvements, AI enablement, self-service capabilities, system enhancements, and process redesign.
Business Process Documentation & Improvement
Document current-state processes, workflows, handoffs, system touchpoints, and user actions using approved templates and tools.
Identify and capture process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, rework, manual effort, and user-experience challenges.
Support the development of future-state process maps, workflow recommendations, and improvement ideas that align with business needs and enterprise standards.
Partner with stakeholders and internal team members to validate process documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements, Intake & Solution Evaluation Support
Assist with eliciting, organizing, validating, and documenting business, functional, workflow, reporting, data, security, and operational requirements.
Support Digital Transformation intake activities by helping review submissions, clarify business needs, track required information, and prepare materials for review.
Help maintain visibility into opportunity status, next steps, open questions, risks, decisions, and dependencies.
Support vendor or solution evaluation activities, including research, comparison matrices, requirements alignment, meeting notes, and follow-up tracking.
Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to confirm solutions meet documented business needs.
What You’ll Bring
Experience
1–3 years of hands-on experience supporting business analysis, process improvement, project coordination, technology, operations, consulting, or a related area. Experience may include internships, rotational programs, early-career roles, or equivalent practical experience, but candidates should have demonstrated experience producing work deliverables in a professional or project-based environment.
Demonstrated exposure to business analysis, digital transformation, process improvement, technology-enabled solutions, AI, automation, analytics, or enterprise operations.
Hands-on exposure to requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, stakeholder communication, data analysis, reporting, or project support.
Experience creating clear work products such as meeting notes, process flows, requirements summaries, status updates, action item trackers, research summaries, or analysis materials.
Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and organize information clearly.
Ability to understand business needs, document key details, and connect findings to practical improvement opportunities.
Comfort working through ambiguity with guidance and escalating questions, risks, or gaps when needed.
Ability to balance detail orientation with a focus on business outcomes, stakeholder experience, and operational value.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, change management, or business process improvement concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar intake, workflow, or portfolio management platforms is preferred but not required.
