The Opportunity This Associate role offers broad exposure across NGC's Capital Markets activity, including ABS securitizations, lending facilities, private funds, and separately managed accounts. You'll work closely with senior team members on the execution of new transactions and the ongoing maintenance of existing facilities, giving you end-to-end visibility into how institutional financing vehicles are built, rated, and managed over time. This role reports to the Director of Capital Markets. Key Responsibilities and Duties Support execution, structuring, rating, and legal coordination for new transactions across pooled investment vehicles, including funds, securitizations, SMAs, and warehouses Support ongoing management and maintenance of existing facilities and vehicles post-closing, including monitoring and amendments Coordinate regularly with senior team members on the execution of new transactions and the ongoing portfolio maintenance of existing facilities Build and maintain cash flows models for new transaction structuring, and update these models post-closing, including quarterly true-ups and roll-forwards Build rating agency stress scenarios and cash flow waterfalls to test proposed ABS structures against agency methodologies. Manage key aspects of transaction execution and diligence from mandate to close, across both capital markets and lending transactions Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on transaction and project status; prepare reporting for senior management, including ongoing development of monitoring tools within the firm's CRM Monitor capital markets trends to inform the design of investment products that offer compelling relative value and meet the needs of our clients Coordinate meetings and manage administrative requirements related to Capital Markets transactions Lead or support ad hoc projects as needed Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred Career Level 6IC Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field 2+ years of experience in structured finance, asset-backed finance, capital markets, or a similar role, ideally with exposure to securitized products Advanced Excel modeling skills, with hands-on experience building structured finance waterfalls and cash flow analyses Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage projects and tasks independently or with limited supervision Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple senior stakeholders and workstreams Prior experience specifically with C-PACE or commercial real estate credit Familiarity with rating agency methodologies and stress testing approaches Exposure to both deal execution and ongoing asset/portfolio management functions Experience preparing investor-facing diligence materials Experience in Bloomberg Related Skills Accountability, Adaptability, Clean Energy Acumen, Collaboration, Commercial Mindset, Consultative Communication, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Executive Presence, Prioritizes Effectively, Stakeholder Engagement Anticipated Posting End Date: 2026-10-19 Base Pay Range: $67,000/yr - $90,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
