Job Description

This Associate Customer Sales Manager (ACSM) position perfectly embodies that ambition, as you will support the full KHC portfolio accounting for $25M+ of revenue with AWG as a vital member of the Customer Business Team (CBT). The ACSM is responsible for calling on and increasing revenue in Retailer Owner Groups within the assigned division. The ACSM is also responsible for calling on and maintaining a relationship that drives the business with the AWG and Ad Group Division personnel. This role is positioned for someone who wants to grow their career at Kraft Heinz and challenge themselves to do better every day


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Regularly meets with assigned Owner Groups and Division AWG and Ad group personnel for assigned Division, developing relationships and rapport to successfully execute promotional plans, innovation and base distribution resulting in profitable $ growth.
  • Forecasting: Accurate Shipper & Mod demand forecast on a monthly cadence using collaboration with retailers & communicating additional adjustments when needed.
  • Responsible for selling all “residual” product in a timely manner for assigned division. This includes nurturing relationships with retailers that buy residual product and following up with timely payments.
  • Perform detailed post promotional analysis for external retailer use and internal planning use.
  • Maintain accurate files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions & manage customer A/R through timely invoice processing.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, joint business planning, line reviews, and “top‐to‐top” meetings with assigned retailers and internally to KHC management.
  • Actively seek new ways to grow the business profitably leveraging a growth mindset
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis with curiosity and agility, in a way that proactively uncovers business-building opportunities.
  • Ability to act as a Business Partner to assigned owner groups, becoming a most trusted resource in making promotional and buying decisions. This includes learning the retailers’ business and developing strategies showing them how to marry their strategy with KHC strategy to result in sales growth.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • This is a remote role

  • Trusted to work autonomously within a team to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities
  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs in particular Excel and proprietary Sales systems
  • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability & experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance
  • Willing to travel 10-20% out of the area as needed

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is considered a Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

Physical demands include but not limited to

  • Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed
  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$89,800.00 - $112,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
