Role Overview:
The Associate will be responsible for assisting engagement delivery teams with executing on engagement-specific objectives. The Associate will be expected to play a role in driving progress against project milestones to help ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. A qualified candidate will be able to multi-task, is dynamic, and should be able to toggle between different processes and assignments with ease.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work on multi-disciplinary teams and build skills and core competencies to serve clients of all sizes from diverse industries
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workloads
- Drive progress against project milestones to help ensure timely and quality delivery of engagement deliverables
- Plan and organize workload and keep the Engagement Manager and / or workstream lead informed of status and activities
- Perform peer reviews and self-reviews of work products prior to submitting them to Engagement Manager and / or workstream lead
- Prepare correspondence / project materials with client(s), stakeholder(s) and in a clear, logical, and concise manner
- Contribute to assignments from commencement to conclusion by researching issues and reviewing documented information, using a variety of techniques
- Effectively analyze and validate large data sets and make relevant conclusions, informed decisions, and educated recommendations to Engagement Manager and / or workstream lead
- Demonstrate an understanding of process and quality control procedures as it relates to specific client engagement(s)
- Flag issues/potential challenges to Engagement Manager and / or workstream lead at an appropriate time so that timely action can be initiated
- Develop relationships with and learn from Engagement Managers and subject matter professionals/specialists, expanding your network and areas of knowledge
- Supervise and mentor Junior Associates on engagements
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance professional practices and processes
- Participate in market research and support proposal development and opportunity requests with tailored messaging for solution / client focus
- **Ability to travel as needed; this job may require 50% travel or more
- **Candidates may be required to undergo background screenings as required by clients for engagement delivery purposes. Continued employment is contingent upon successfully passing such screenings throughout the duration of employment.
What Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
- Proficiency with technology including MS Office applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with data collection, analysis, and evaluation, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, health and human services, communications, IT, or related fields is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other industry-recognized certifications are preferred
