The role

As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll join a high-performing finance team supporting the delivery of complex engineering programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your finance career within a global organisation, gaining exposure to major projects while providing valuable financial insight that supports business performance and decision-making.

Day-to-day you'll be required to:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting activities to deliver accurate financial information
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, reports and analysis to support business decision-making
  • Providing financial performance insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Supporting governance, audit and financial control requirements across programmes and functions
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and financial performance

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Associate Finance Business Partner

  • Experience applying financial analysis and reporting skills within a business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications for the Associate Finance Business Partner

  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent, or working towards a recognised professional accounting qualification
  • Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline – desirable
  • Experience within a project, engineering, manufacturing or defence environment – desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
