Where the team fits in

As an Associate Machine Learning Engineer in the AI Experience team (part of the Consumer Experience division), you’ll help build intelligent features that make property discovery more personalised and relevant for our users. You’ll work on recommendation and prediction models that power key experiences across REA’s web and app platforms. This includes using state-of-the-art recommender systems such as deep learning models, collaborative filtering and content-based methods, as well as supporting the development of decision models using techniques like regression and decision trees.

Working alongside senior machine learning engineers and data scientists, you’ll contribute to model training, evaluation and deployment. You’ll also help maintain and improve AI pipelines that connect with systems like recommendation engines and user decision flows. This is a great opportunity to deepen your machine learning skills while contributing to impactful products that reach millions of users every day.
