Associate Manager, Distribution & Warehousing

In this role, you will lead import export, warehouse and distribution activities and act as the Supply Chain point of contact for the country. You will support business results by ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations, strong service quality and effective cost management. You will manage third-party logistics relationships, drive continuous improvement through NCE tools and methodologies, and ensure operations are aligned with Nestlé requirements and business needs.

• Own inbound, outbound and other warehouse operational issues, resolving order and delivery exceptions such as orders after cut-off, customer delivery prioritization and month-end rush orders.
• Drive operational excellence across inventory management, warehousing and distribution, including inventory accuracy, on-time picking, dispatch, stock reconciliation and order-to-cash performance.
• Monitor 3PL warehouse performance across accurate picking, product freshness, inventory accuracy, loading and proof of delivery.
• Ensure Nestlé Good Warehouse Practices are implemented and consistently followed by 3PL partners and distributors.
• Monitor and assess transportation and 3PL service levels against agreed service-level agreements and operational performance measures.
• Manage the daily operational relationship with 3PL providers and ensure their operations comply with Nestlé standard operating procedures.
• Lead safety across warehouse operations and promote a strong SHE mindset throughout Nestlé activities.
• Ensure the destruction and write-off of bad goods are completed in line with Nestlé guidelines.
• Approve and reconcile invoices related to warehouse and distribution activities.
• Manage operational spend within the assigned scope through effective cost control and support or lead local cost-efficiency initiatives with relevant Supply Chain partners.
• Apply NCE best practices and maintain a continuous improvement mindset across warehouse and distribution operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Transportation Hub, Cluster Logistics, the warehouse team, Customer Solutions CoC and CFSC, as well as external 3PL providers, transport providers and clearing agents.

• 2–4 years of relevant, successful operational experience, preferably in a leading role within Logistics, import export operations, Supply chain roles.
• Good experience in warehouse management; FMCG experience is preferred.
• Very good English and French communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong leadership and people-management capability, with the ability to build cooperation and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across different organizational levels.
• Understanding of key financial principles used to manage and optimize Supply Chain costs.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Good Warehouse Practices and daily supplier management.
• Ability to manage operational performance reviews with suppliers and independently execute distribution and delivery activities.
• Good computer skills, time management, discipline and consistency.
• Curiosity to challenge the status quo, combined with speed, initiative and proactivity in a volatile operational environment.
