Whether we team with clients, colleagues, or partners, we put each other first. It’s The Iron Bow Way.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Associate Partner Alliance Manager helps scale and strengthen Iron Bow’s most strategic enterprise technology partnerships. Reporting to the Sr. Alliance Manager responsible for Enterprise Programs, this role provides dedicated operational and strategic support across a focused portfolio of OEM partners that span multiple Iron Bow business units, including Defense, Federal Civilian, SLED, and Commercial.
As part of a high-performing Alliances organization, you’ll help create the cadence, visibility, coordination, and follow-through needed to turn strategic partner relationships into measurable business value.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to gain direct exposure to leading technology companies, internal Sales and CTO leadership, and the strategies and operations behind how a large IT solutions provider develops, manages, and grows enterprise partnerships across multiple markets.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Support the day-to-day execution of designated enterprise OEM relationships, working closely with the Sr. Alliance Manager and partner channel teams.
- Coordinate enterprise partner priorities across Defense, Federal Civilian, SLED, and Commercial business units.
- Support recurring partner engagements, including QBRs, EBCs, business reviews, planning sessions, and internal alignment meetings.
- Prepare meeting materials, scorecards, pipeline and performance insights, action logs, and follow-up for enterprise partner engagements.
- Track partner commitments, priorities, investments, incentives, certifications, and other program requirements across the assigned enterprise portfolio.
- Coordinate activities and follow-through across Sales, CTO, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate partner information, action tracking, reporting, and supporting data across internal systems and partner tools.
- Translate enterprise partner plans into clear actions, owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify and surface risks, gaps, and opportunities to the Sr. Alliance Manager and assist in driving cross-functional resolution.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partner cadence, reporting, processes, and the overall partner experience.
- Partner with Alliance Operations on supplier enablement and routine administrative requirements as needed; this role does not own new supplier onboarding.
SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively with both internal teams and external technology partners.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset; experience or exposure to CRM systems, reporting, data management, Excel, or Power BI is a plus.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with an interest in building a career in partnerships, alliances, channel management, sales, or technology.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of industry experience in operations, sales, marketing, consulting, supply chain, technology, or a related field.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This is a hybrid role based out of our Herndon, VA office and requires two days per week in the office, with up to 20% travel to partner/customer meetings and events.
