Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As an Associate Product Line Manager, you support in the creation of profitable global product line assortments for your assigned product category. Your contribution to our global product line, as assigned by the Senior Product Line Manager 1, supports in achieving our company goals, meeting our consumer needs, and focuses on brand opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Meet your future team: The Product Line Management (PLM) team is responsible for determining and delivering the right product, in the right places, at the right time. PLM delivers product lines that support the overall Design creative direction, while driving company sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals, on a global scale. This high performing team works closely with the Design and Product Creation Development teams to bring the product vision to life through future seasonal line plans, and partners with the Supply Chain teams on the upstream side of the product cycle. If you were an Associate Product Line Manager now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing: Supporting the development execution of the product line strategy for your assigned product categories and classes Contributing to the creation of product briefs that align with the category strategy, seasonal story-telling focus, and brand vision, fostering collaboration with the design and development teams Contributing to the cross-functional product creation process from concept through to market, through sharing your expert knowledge of product, the PRO user needs Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and process documentation to support scalability, consistency, and repeatable execution across future seasons Supporting to achieve and maintain key product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), design and production costs relative to the market and guest value proposition Contributing to the management of the product lifecycle management for each model, starting with consumer research, from development to commercialization, to eventual redesign, replacement or retirement Contributing to seasonal selling plans and supporting our overall strategies (grow, diminish, hold, exit, launch) Supporting in research and analysis of the global marketplace to identify key consumer and market insights to inform concept work and development of new products and the range Supporting in the preparation of product presentations for key calendar touchpoints that inspire and deliver the critical information to our internal stakeholders, ensuring successful development of seasonal assets and plans Contributing to GTM product knowledge and supporting on the creation of selling tools and product information for our Commercial and Brand teams Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain Here are some things you could be working on in the future: Collaborating with Design and Development teams to contribute to a lineplan that delivers double digit sales growth, while delivering new and innovative product launches that support PRO users in complex environments Building cross-functional channel and planning partners to help understand current business performance and leverage insights to guide and inform future range plans Are you our next Associate Product Line Manager – PRO? You have 3+ years of experience in outdoor retail or merchandising, product development, wholesale, account services, project management, and/or retail buying roles You have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail You effectively manage your time, and you possess strong analytical, presentation and communication skills You have strong leadership and teamwork skills, you are solution-oriented, and you are able to facilitate work across many different internal departments You have a strong understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry, and knowledge of the key PRO markets is a bonus You have an excellent understanding of the design, development, and commercialization process You are well versed in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) You are willing and able to travel as required (trade shows, key dealer presentations, key vendor meetings, core consumer events, etc.) You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions You are highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it Compensation: The salary range for this role is CAD$71,000 - CAD$93,000 Total Rewards Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
