About the Role

The Associate Project Finance Analyst is a member of the Project Finance team within Emerald Clinical. The group is responsible for supporting project finance aspect of contracted clinical research projects for both internal and external customers across all functional areas and geographies, including project performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting, in line with the company strategy and planning

Responsibilities

• Perform budget uploads, payment schedule updates, and project task uploads in relevant systems.

• Support project revenue recognition, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

• Assist with project billing and milestone tracking.

• Support monitoring of unbilled/unearned revenue, and customer advances.

• Assist with month-end activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Support Budget vs. Actual and Forecast vs. Actual variance analysis.

• Maintain accurate project financial data and documentation.

• Prepare basic financial reports and analysis.

• Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance teams on project financial activities.

• Follow established Project Finance processes and controls

About You

• 1 years of experience with an educational background in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fields.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of project finance concepts, cost tracking, and financial reporting
