Ben Bridge Jeweler is seeking an Associate Purchase and Inventory Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Associate Purchase and Inventory Assistant administers internal associate purchases and supports inventory accuracy across corporate and retail locations. This position processes transactions, maintains accurate records, and provides timely guidance and support to associates and store teams. The role also reviews and resolves inventory variances, assists with physical inventory counts, and helps ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies. Success in this position requires strong communication, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to investigate and resolve problems while delivering a positive associate experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Associate Purchase Program

  • Process associate purchase and accommodation requests in accordance with company policies and established approval requirements.
  • Review requests for completeness and eligibility, obtain or document required approvals, and accurately complete related transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of associate purchase activity, including requests, approvals, transaction details, and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for associate purchase inquiries and provide clear guidance regarding program rules, eligibility, and processes.
  • Accurately enter and maintain purchase information in applicable systems.
  • Provide timely updates and proactive support to associates throughout the purchase process.
  • Escalate policy exceptions or unusual transactions to the appropriate leader.

Inventory Support

  • Respond promptly to inventory and transaction inquiries from retail store locations through established communication channels.
  • Review inventory records and transactions to identify errors, discrepancies, and potential causes.
  • Research and correct inventory errors in accordance with established procedures and authorization requirements.
  • Troubleshoot inventory variances across corporate and retail locations and coordinate resolution with appropriate partners.
  • Assist store teams with point-of-sale transaction questions and inventory-related issues.
  • Support office, local, and periodic physical inventory activities as assigned.
  • Document resolutions and recurring issues to support inventory accuracy and process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years of experience in retail operations, inventory control, purchasing support, transaction processing, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to review data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve routine transactional or inventory issues.
  • Proficiency with inventory-management systems, point-of-sale platforms, and standard business applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment when applying policies and escalating exceptions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling associate and transaction information.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance three or more days per week.
  • Ability to work additional hours when required by business needs.

Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
