#LI-KW1 #LI-Hybrid Essential Functions and Primary Duties Underwrite new submissions to ensure new policies are correct per guidelines Review all underwriting information to correctly underwrite the policy Process and scan documents for record and files electronically Help prepare monthly renewal and anniversary reports Enter new business applications, initiate renewal application process, process term letters, and distribute applications to support the underwriting process Run pre-defined statistical reports on new business and renewal applications Additional responsibilities as assigned Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a health-related area such as health education, medical, wellness, or fitness Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Less than 3 years of underwriting experience Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Experience working in a team environment as a team leader/facilitator/influencer Ability to be a role model/mentor/health coach for health and wellness to others Required competencies includes: project management, organization skills, analytic capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulate presentation skills, and self-motivation Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
