You will be a key architect of our multi-year advancement strategy, managing a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects while overseeing annual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, and stewardship. We are looking for a leader who balances sophisticated gift negotiation with a passion for mentorship and team growth.

  • Oversee regional fundraising efforts throughout Missouri to ensure an integrated approach to revenue growth.

  • Engage with Foundation board members and volunteer leaders to recruit influential community ambassadors.

  • Utilize data analytics and CRM technology to drive decision-making, pipeline management, and forecasting.

  • Serve as a primary ambassador for KVC at community, business, and philanthropic events.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Licensure: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

  • Fundraising Experience: At least 10 years of experience in grant development with a proven ability to translate programmatic needs into fundable strategies.

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of program leadership or cross-functional initiative management in a complex organization.

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of securing major gifts of $25,000 or more and principal gifts of $100,000 or more.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of annual giving, capital campaigns, planned giving, and corporate/foundation partnerships.

  • Relationship Management: Experience working directly with executive leaders, boards, and high-capacity philanthropists.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel across Missouri to support regional efforts and donor engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential.

  • Experience within human services, child welfare, healthcare, or behavioral health sectors.

  • Background in campaign planning or campaign leadership.

  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
