The ideal candidate manages their own workload, produces high-quality output, and communicates proactively with the onshore team. If you know Australian tax inside out and take pride in accuracy, this role was made for you. Roles and Responsibilities Independently process electronic data and journal entries across all client sizes; prepare complete working papers and reconciliations with no guidance required. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and tax planning Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs (training provided if required) Ensure all client work is accurate, compliant, and meets Australian tax law requirements Respond to client queries via email or client portal under production manager oversight. Draft responses for production manager review on more complex matters. Manage ATO client correspondence and queries Attend to routine corporate secretarial requirements independently, including review of ASIC notifications, minutes, and resolutions. Conduct tax research, stay updated on legislation, and anticipate changes Prepare tax planning schedules and supporting analysis for manager/partner review Why this role is for you If you are an outgoing, confident communicator, love numbers, and are proactive, this role is perfect for you!
