Audit & Accounts Senior

Our client, a highly regarded and well-established boutique accountancy practice based in South Dublin, is seeking a Newly Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant looking to build on their practice experience within a supportive and progressive firm. The role offers exposure to a broad range of audit, accounts, and tax assignments, working closely with SME and owner-managed business clients across a variety of sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a range of SME and corporate clients.
• Prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and monthly management accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Support the preparation of VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong client relationships, responding to queries and working closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality service and advisory support.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or recently qualified.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience within a practice setting.
• Exposure to audit assignments and accounts preparation.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and auditing principles.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar software would be advantageous.
