Senior Financial Accountant

My client is a boutique accounting and advisory firm which is going through a period of significant growth.

Providing accounting, financial reporting and tax services to a range of industry-based entrepreneurial clients, they are now seeking a Big 4 trained ACA to join their top-class and supportive team.

They will consider candidates at the newly qualified level as well as up to 3 years' PQE.

This role will be remote-based in Ireland, but can also offer international relocation opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a high-performing Big 4 trained accountant with an excellent academic record.

In this role you will support the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services to a portfolio of industry-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts and assist with month-end close for a variety of clients
• Preparation and review of journal entries
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Provide insights and analysis to support client decision-making
• Preparation of VAT and corporate tax filings
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Review the work of junior staff
• Foster strong working relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact

Candidate Requirements:

• Big 4 trained ACA (newly qualified -> 3 years' PQE)
• Excellent academic record
• Superb technical accounting and financial reporting experience
