Our team serves more than 700 not-for-profit organizations, ranging from local charities to institutions with annual budgets exceeding $1 billion. We provide audit, tax, and advisory services to a wide range of organizations, including charitable and social service agencies, healthcare providers, foundations, museums, housing programs, faith-based institutions, and professional associations. As an Audit Associate II, you'll work on engagements that directly support these mission-driven organizations while building your career alongside recognized leaders in the not-for-profit and employee benefit plan space. What You'll Do Participate in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations Assist with Single Audits for organizations receiving federal funding Perform audit testing and evaluate internal controls Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation Communicate directly with clients and engagement team members Collaborate with managers and partners throughout engagements Build expertise in not-for-profit and employee benefit plan auditing Why This Opportunity Stands Out Clark Schaefer Hackett is a recognized leader in the not-for-profit sector. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-3 years of audit or assurance experience Understanding of audit methodology and financial statement engagements Strong communication and relationship-building skills Desire to learn and grow within public accounting A Plus, But Not Required CPA or CPA-track Not-for-profit audit experience Why CSH?
