Our client, a long-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Cork, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior with a minimum of two years Irish practice experience to advance their career within a supportive, progressive, and professional environment.

The successful Audit Senior will work with a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients across a range of sectors. The role provides valuable exposure to high-quality audit assignments, while offering ongoing training, professional development, and excellent long-term career progression for an ambitious Audit Senior.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit assignments across a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
• Liaise directly with clients, responding to queries and providing professional support throughout the audit process.
• Review financial information, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements to client systems and internal controls.
• Support and mentor junior team members while ensuring audit files are completed accurately and in accordance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Irish practice-based audit role.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
