Authorization Specialist

Description

Primary role will be insurance verification, communicating with payers/providers, patients and insurance companies. This person will be expected to be flexible and may have to help with other teams and duties where needed. Candidates will be working with a computer system with multi monitors, navigating between 4-5 programs at a time. while they are doing this they will be talking with insurance carriers for what a patients deductible and out of pocket might be, they will also be discussing Explanation of benefits where needed with servicer. Candidate may be asked to do medical collections at some point, must be open to this. It will not be often, but may need to assist when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
