UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Tech Support Analyst in New York, NY

We’re looking for an Authorized Officer, Tech Support Analyst to:

  • Provide front-line technical support to end users on a variety of technology issues. Support and monitor various business/IT applications, batch jobs and infrastructure components as part of an application support team providing coverage from multiple regions.
  • Continually drive improvement to our service offering using data driven analytics, emphasizing opportunities for automation and robotics. Coordinate with multiple and varied teams to conduct and manage special events such as disaster recovery tests, infrastructure change weekends, Data Centre maintenance, and special event days.
  • Ensuring supportability and quality are maintained with the introduction of production changes. Work with geographically dispersed technical teams including outsourced vendors, and effectively manage multiple, concurrent / conflicting priorities.
  • Utilize diverse technology solutions and services (networks, operating systems, infrastructure components, applications). Communicate clearly & effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $128,939 to $268,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your Skills And Experience

Education & Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience as a Consultant, Assistant Consultant, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:

  • ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management); Windows and Linux administration and troubleshooting; Batch scheduling tools and automation frameworks like Autosys; Monitoring tools and proactive alert management like BigPanda; Database administration and ability to work with query languages for analytics like MS SQL, Sybase, and Oracle; Network troubleshooting capabilities; Coordinating disaster recovery and infrastructure change events; Managing risk and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:

  • United States - New York - New York min USD 128939 - max USD 268000 /annum
