Key Responsibilities: Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional and technical specifications Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT Log, track, and verify bugs in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality Work alongside automation engineers and contribute to automated test planning Occasionally write or maintain basic automated tests using tools like Playwright, Karate, or Cypress Write small scripts or automation utilities when needed Requirements: 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle Familiarity with at least one programming language: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python Basic experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Karate, or similar Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent documentation and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration Knowledge of performance or load testing tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
