As a Java Developer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain information systems using Java (or similar languages) and relevant frameworks in line with Salvador Caetano Group standards. Participate in planning and solution development, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities. Promote excellence and high performance within your team and the broader development community. We are looking for candidates with: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Clear and assertive communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities. Proven experience with Java, Quarkus, Spring, and JPA/Hibernate. Basic knowledge of deploying solutions on AWS. Strong SQL skills and experience with Db2, MySQL, and SQL Server. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a cause-and-effect mindset. Critical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Experience using Atlassian tools is a plus.
