The Associate Vice President, Clinical Insights is the enterprise leader that sets the strategy and roadmap for Humana’s clinical insight products. The leader also defines how Humana measures clinical excellence and translates clinical insights into strategic choices, business action, and measurable performance improvement across insurance, primary care, pharmacy, and home health.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create and own the enterprise clinical insights vision, mission, strategy, and two to four year roadmap.
· Responsible for strategy, design, QA, and ongoing governance of a comprehensive dashboard to monitor enterprise clinical excellence across members and patients.
· Steward the governance of the clinical excellence dashboard across relevant business units to facilitate and coordinate data-driven actions.
· Direct multiple teams including measurement science, stratification and predictive modeling, and provider quality.
· Partner with engineering and business leaders across the health plan and CenterWell organization to turn measurement into action across the enterprise.
· Direct cross functional performance improvement efforts and establish methods to prioritize interventions, monitor implementation, and measure value realization.
· Lead planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priorities, talent decisions, and changes to methods and practices for the function.
· Contribute significantly to interdepartmental initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy and represent the company on matters of great significance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in data science, math, computer science, health sciences, or public health
· Fifteen or more years of related professional experience.
· 10 or more years of people management experience, including experience leading leaders and multiple teams.
· 10 or more years of deep expertise in clinical analytics, clinical or population health strategy, quality improvement including the use of AI to enable those capabilities
· Experience at a payer or integrated health system including extensive use of claims and electronic health record data
· Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and formulate, communicate, and implement enterprise strategy.
· Demonstrated success converting evidence into executive decisions and measurable action across payer and care delivery businesses.
· Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving the consumer healthcare experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master's degree or terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
· Experience spanning insurance, primary care, pharmacy, and home health or other home-based care.
· Experience presenting to senior executives and governing bodies on matters of significant enterprise importance.
· Familiarity with Medicare stars and quality measures,
· Track record of building high performing, diverse leadership teams and succession pipelines.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
