Build a career that matches all your initiative with an impressive dose of innovation. From cutting-edge resources and a collaborative environment to the freedom to make an impact and more, you’ll find the ingredients you need at LPL Financial to shape your success while helping clients pursue their financial goals.
Job Overview:
Help define how an enterprise builds software in the age of AI. As the Assistant Vice President, AI PDLC Product Owner, you will help shape an enterprise product that connects people, process, agents, knowledge, and measurement into a more coherent way of delivering value. The role turns emerging AI capabilities into a practical product and operating model that can be used across LPL to improve the software development experience and delivery of business value.
The Assistant Vice President, AI PDLC Product Owner owns the product definition and evolution of the AI Product Development Lifecycle (AI PDLC) platform and measurement framework. This role translates the future-state PDLC into product capabilities, workflows, artifacts, gates, and measures, partnering with product, engineering, architecture, AI governance, risk, and delivery teams from pilot through adoption and scale. The role is accountable for product outcomes, prioritization, and readiness while partnering closely with technical leaders on implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and operating measures for the AI PDLC platform and measurement framework.
- Translate the future-state PDLC into personas, workflows, roles, artifacts, gates, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
- Define and evolve measures across PDLC phases, including DORA metrics, throughput, cycle time, queue time, inter-task delay, quality, adoption, and business value.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, design, AI DevOps, AI governance, risk, and delivery teams to define human experiences, agent lifecycle capabilities, knowledge access, orchestration, and governance requirements.
- Lead pilot readiness activities, including hypothesis development, baseline definition, scenario planning, success and failure criteria, evidence collection, findings analysis, and iterative improvements from pilot through scale.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog using data and stakeholder feedback to address dependencies, evaluate trade-offs, and improve value delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Define enablement approaches, feedback mechanisms, operating practices, and reporting frameworks that support adoption and measure product outcomes.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a product leader who is motivated to pursue greatness, consistently act with integrity, and is driven to help our clients succeed through scalable, responsible technology solutions. The ideal candidate can connect business needs, user experiences, process design, data, and emerging AI capabilities into a coherent product direction. They collaborate effectively across technical and business functions to win together while helping teams innovate responsibly and create and share joy through exceptional product experiences and meaningful progress.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management or product ownership experience supporting enterprise software, workflow, platform, or other complex technology products.
- Experience translating complex business processes or operating models into product strategy, roadmaps, workflows, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading cross-functional product delivery with engineering, design, architecture, data, and business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycles, product and delivery metrics, pilot design, and data-driven product decision-making.
- Practical understanding of generative AI, AI agents, or AI-enabled software development and their application to enterprise workflows.
Preferences:
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry with governance, risk, privacy, records management, or supervisory requirements.
- Experience with enterprise knowledge management, workflow and orchestration platforms, AI agents, or human-plus-agent operating models.
- Experience developing product measurement frameworks, connecting operational metrics to business outcomes, and using pilot results to guide investment and scaling decisions.
