We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support and improve enterprise development platforms, CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling in a complex cloud environment.
This is a hands-on, operational engineering role, combining direct technical support for developers with software development and automation. Approximately 70–80% of the role involves platform support and troubleshooting, with the remaining time focused on engineering improvements and automation. Development time depends on operational priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end support for CI/CD platforms, build pipelines, developer tooling and artifact management
- Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, integration and testing issues directly with development teams
- Maintain and improve AWS-based development infrastructure and containerised environments
- Develop automation tools and scripts to reduce manual effort and improve developer productivity
- Implement security controls and support secure software delivery practices
- Maintain platform documentation and contribute to continuous improvement
Essential experience:
- 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, SRE or a similar technical role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies, such as ECS or EKS
- Strong programming and scripting skills, ideally in Python, Go or a similar language
- Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform or CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of Git workflows, version control and secure SDLC practices
- Experience supporting complex development environments and working directly with engineers to resolve technical issues
