AWS Devops Lead /Architect

Job Title : Senior AWS DevOps Lead (Architect)

Location: London

Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and infrastructure assessments for cloud transformation programs.
• Analyze existing on-premise and cloud environments and define modernization roadmaps.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
• Create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Lead migration planning, dependency analysis, and workload onboarding to AWS.
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, DevOps, security, and operations teams.
• Drive platform standardization, governance, and operational best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers during architecture reviews and solutioning discussions.

• Comfortable engaging with client architects, infrastructure teams, and CXO stakeholders.
• Able to define migration strategies, architecture patterns, and DevOps operating models.
• Hands-on technical expert, not just a coordinator or project manager.
• Experience supporting large enterprise cloud transformation programs across multiple geographies.
