About AxoMem

AxoMem builds intelligent digital twin platforms, starting in healthcare. Our solutions are in use and in development at several Singapore healthcare institutions, covering infectious disease analytics, patient analytics, video analytics and "cognitive digital twins" of hospital operations. Longer term, we plan to extend the platform to other industries.

We are a small, lean team, and AI is central to how we engineer, deploy and operate our software.

The Role

We are looking for someone with a natural drive and curiosity to understand and apply technology. You have built things, broken them and fixed them, across more than one area of tech, and you still do.

You will start by owning deployments in client environments, getting what we build internally running at the client site.

As you get on top of that, the role grows:

• You become the main contact for your focus clients. You understand both their IT requirements (infrastructure, security and IT operations teams) and their clinical requirements (the doctors, nurses and operations staff who use our solutions)
• You turn those needs into clear requirements for the product
• You use AI to implement, test and operate those requirements, working with our engineering leads

What You'll Work With

• Production systems at our Singapore clients
• AI coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, and current frontier models (e.g. Claude Fable 5.x and GPT-6 Astra)
• Linux and Windows servers, on-premise and in the cloud
• Git-based workflows, CI/CD and DevOps practices
• AI across the whole lifecycle: development, testing, deployment and operations

• Our Founder/CTO, directly
• Our platform and medical AI leads, who bridge the clinical and AI sides of the product
• A distributed development team across India, Europe and Canada
• Hospital IT and clinical staff, directly

Must Haves

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience after university (or equivalent)
• Solid Python and Git
• Strong Linux skills, plus working Windows experience
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools: you have used Claude Code, Codex or similar tools to build working projects
• Self-motivated, and able to work remotely while collaborating closely with the team online
• A broad tech background: you have built, fixed and configured a wide range of things

Nice to Haves

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or similar)
• DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
• Agile delivery experience
• Gaming, homelab, self-hosting, hardware builds or open-source contributions
• Exposure to healthcare, government or regulated environments
• Interest in digital twins, video analytics or 3D/BIM (e.g. Revit, Unity)
