Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Azure Cloud & DevOps Support Engineer to support and maintain business-critical cloud platforms and applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role combines
Azure infrastructure operations, production support, DevOps and CI/CD support, incident management, monitoring, and troubleshooting across cloud infrastructure, identity, networking, and deployment environments. You’ll work closely with global engineering, security, and business teams to maintain platform stability, support application deployments, resolve production issues, and continuously improve operational processes across Azure environments.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

• Provide L1/L2 operational support for Azure cloud infrastructure, DevOps platforms, and business-critical applications across production and non-production environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure services, including Virtual Machines, networking, storage, identity and access, backup, recovery, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Support Azure DevOps and CI/CD operations, including repositories, build pipelines, release pipelines, deployments, and troubleshooting pipeline failures.
• Investigate incidents and alerts, perform incident triage and root cause analysis, and collaborate with L3 engineering teams on complex technical issues within defined SLAs.
• Support deployments and release activities, working with development teams during release windows and monitoring platform and deployment health.
• Execute operational procedures across production, disaster recovery, and non-production environments, including SOPs, runbooks, health checks, service restarts, patch validations, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Contribute to operational improvement by identifying recurring issues, maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles, and supporting automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in Azure Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Platform Support, Production Support, DevOps Support, or similar technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure production environments, including Virtual Machines, networking, storage, monitoring, backup/recovery, and identity and access services.
  • Experience providing L1/L2 production support, including incident triage, technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, escalation, and resolution within SLA targets.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes, including repositories, build pipelines, release pipelines, deployments, and pipeline troubleshooting.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Dynatrace, or similar enterprise tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, access management, connectivity, and enterprise infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with global development, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

  Set Yourself Apart With

  • Experience supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and production release activities.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Scripting and operational automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding of Azure security, governance, disaster recovery, and cloud operational best practices.
  • Experience supporting high-availability, energy trading, financial, or other business-critical enterprise platforms.
  • Experience participating in on-call rotations, disaster recovery exercises, CAB activities, or production release windows.
