Azure Cloud Integration Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer who can design, develop, deploy, and scale cloud-native applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and some Angular development experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can work across cloud infrastructure, backend microservices, DevOps, and frontend development. They should be comfortable taking an application from development through automated deployment and operating it reliably at scale in Azure.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting, collaborating closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and guiding partners through the development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end system and APIs for device onboarding, configuration, telemetry, and seamless OTA (over-the-air) updates
• Design, develop, deploy, and scale microservices-based applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Work with development teams to implement cloud-native architecture and DevOps best practices.

• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.

• Implement security, reliability, scalability, and observability best practices across Azure environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development for distributed, cloud, or connected device platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and distributed applications.
• Experience with containers and Docker; Kubernetes/AKS experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Angular and modern web application development.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated programming expertise in Go, Java, C#, Node.js or Python and architectural patterns for modern microservices.
• Proficiency in REST/gRPC API design, data modeling, and event-driven messaging (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
• Familiarity with device connectivity (USB, Bluetooth) or firmware update workflows.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and observability tools.
• Experience working with external or distributed development teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to bridge technical and business priorities.

Preferred

• Experience delivering or integrating IoT or device management platforms.
• Understanding of analytics pipelines, cost-optimized cloud deployment, and data privacy best practices
• Certification preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
