Azure IAM Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure IAM Engineer for a leading technology organization located remotely within the EST or CST time zones. The Azure IAM Engineer will support the design, implementation, and management of Azure Entra ID solutions for a highly secure cloud environment and help drive a new IL5 offering. An ideal candidate for the Azure IAM Engineer is an experienced identity and access management professional with deep expertise in Azure Entra ID, authentication technologies, and enterprise security architecture.

Responsibilities of the Azure IAM Engineer:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure Entra ID solutions to support business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Manage identity and access management services including SSO, MFA, conditional access policies, RBAC, and ABAC.
• Ensure secure integration between Azure Entra ID and cloud or on-premises applications and platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct security assessments, and develop documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
  
  

Qualifications of the Azure IAM Engineer:

• Proven experience administering and architecting Azure Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) environments.
• Strong background with Azure cloud services, identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access controls.
• Experience with IAM security and compliance standards; IL5 experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Okta, SailPoint, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and identity governance solutions is a plus.
  
  

Compensation for the Azure IAM Engineer includes:

• Salary range: -$105,000- $129,000
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), sick leave as required by law, and PTO.
