About Bolt

Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we’re just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.

  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.

  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you’ll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.

  • Join one of Europe’s leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About the role

As a Business Development Manager at Bolt Business in Paraguay, you’ll drive our commercial growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with SMEs and mid-sized companies, and helping more businesses discover the benefits of our corporate mobility solutions.

This role is a good match for you if you have experience in B2B sales, enjoy building relationships and closing deals, and want to play an active role in expanding Bolt Business in Paraguay.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and cold calling to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals, while building a strong and consistent pipeline.

  • Develop effective outreach strategies to connect with SMEs and mid-sized businesses, establish strong relationships, and convert opportunities into new clients.

  • Achieve sales targets by identifying potential customers, implementing effective sales strategies, and continuously analysing and improving your performance.

  • Share regular updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and commercial results with the management team.

  • Provide market feedback to the product team, helping improve our solutions based on local business needs.

  • Identify new business opportunities in Paraguay, stay informed about local market trends, and adapt sales strategies to changing customer needs.

About you

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a fast-paced environment, with experience selling services to SMEs and mid-sized businesses. A university degree is an advantage.

  • You’re passionate about sales, consistently achieve ambitious targets, and have a results-oriented mindset.

  • You have a proven track record of prospecting, acquiring, and successfully closing new business opportunities, particularly with mid-market clients.

  • You can effectively communicate in English and Spanish, build professional networks, and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have a data-driven and analytical mindset, with experience using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) to manage your pipeline and optimise sales activities.

  • You take initiative, approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.

  • Impact millions of customers and partners across 50 countries.

  • Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.

  • Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.

  • Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode, with office attendance arrangements reflecting local conditions.

  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
