Backend Engineer (Data) Join a high-performing engineering team building scalable backend services and data platforms using modern cloud technologies! We're working with an innovative technology company that is looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and scale the services, APIs, and data platforms that power business-critical insights. You'll join a highly collaborative engineering team, working with modern cloud technologies to develop reliable, scalable systems that process and expose large volumes of data. Must Have: Strong commercial experience with Python and/or Go Experience building and maintaining production backend services and APIs Good understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) Experience working with distributed systems and microservices Knowledge of data pipelines, data warehousing, or analytics platforms Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools Strong communication skills and fluent English Nice to Have: Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouse technologies Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Experience working with AI or LLM-powered applications Interest in data-driven products and analytics platforms Experience within gaming, digital products, or high-scale consumer applications Department Backend Developer Locations Stockholm Remote status Hybrid
