You proactively identify bottlenecks and favor clean, modular architecture, while also taking accountability for driving the business impact of the solutions your team builds. 👤 Your role You will lead the technical design and implementation of new partner integrations and platform features, blending technical expertise with product management to own the end-to-end delivery and business impact of your work. You will own the full lifecycle of your services—from development and deployment to production monitoring, alerting, and incident response. You will actively manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure environment parity and security. You will evolve our integration strategy, championing a platform-first mindset that drives synergies across our integration ecosystem, while ensuring high-performance, secure communication between internal and external systems. You will leverage cutting-edge AI-powered tools across the entire software development lifecycle—from system design and code generation to infrastructure automation, log analysis, and performance monitoring—to drive innovation and efficiency. You will provide technical support and create high-quality documentation to ensure the long-term maintainability of our connectivity layer. 📋 Responsibilities Lead technical design and implementation of partner integrations. Own service lifecycle: develop, deploy, monitor, alert, and respond to incidents. Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC). Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for internal teams and partners. Use AI agents and tools to automate infrastructure, log analysis, and performance monitoring. Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of integration services. ✍🏼 Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development. Strong API & Integration Experience : Deep understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP, authentication/OAuth, and webhook management. GraphQL Familiarity : You understand GraphQL concepts, as this is required to interact effectively with the APIs of our partners. DevOps/Cloud Skills : Proven experience with AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Observability : Strong experience setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog). Technical Documentation : Ability to translate complex system designs into clear, actionable documentation. Solid experience with modern backend languages (e.g., PHP/Laravel and Node.js/TypeScript). Expertise in database design (MySQL, NoSQL) and optimizing queries for large-scale data. AI-based automation : Proficiency in integrating and leveraging AI-assisted programming and agents in your daily workflow. Fluency in English, with strong communication skills for customer and partner-facing situations. Experience with containerization (Docker). 🎀 Nice to have Experience building "connector" layers or integration platforms. Familiarity with travel industry and booking platform connectivity standards (e.g., OCTO). Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, payment processing, or accounting data structures. Experience building agentic applications. Additional European languages - especially German or Italian - are a plus.
