Backend Engineer (NestJS / Go)

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who enjoys autonomy, solves problems end-to-end, and moves fast in a small startup team. Tech Stack Service-oriented / microservices architecture Node.js (NestJS) , Go , a bit of Python PostgreSQL as the primary database gRPC for internal service communication Hosted on Google Cloud Platform Integrations with AI assistants and AI agent systems Client applications: Next.js web app + Chrome Extension What You’ll Do Build and evolve backend services & APIs powering Draftboard’s AI-driven networking experience Design and implement new product functionality end-to-end Improve, refactor and support existing services Collaborate closely with the team and contribute to product decisions Own solutions from idea to deployment with minimal supervision Requirements Russian speaker highly preferred (English level B1+) Strong experience with Node.js (NestJS) and Go Practical experience with AI developer tooling (CLI tools, Codex-style models, AI IDEs like Cursor, etc.) Understanding of distributed / service-oriented architectures Familiarity with Docker , basic CI/CD, and cloud environments (GCP preferred) Ability to independently break down, design and deliver features Experience or interest in working with AI agents/assistants Comfortable working fully remote and communicating proactively Why Draftboard Because this is the moment.
