Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Backend Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs for high-traffic applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for performance.

• Implement and enforce API security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve system stability.

• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in backend development with experience in RESTful API design and implementation.

• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
