The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the systems behind the company's next generation of AI-driven products. You will work closely with engineers, machine learning researchers, and data scientists to translate sophisticated models and healthcare data into scalable, production-ready software relied upon daily by customers. What You’ll Do Design and build scalable backend services and APIs Develop integrations with healthcare and financial systems Build reliable, observable data ingestion and processing pipelines Partner with ML engineers to productionize AI-powered features Design high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems Collaborate across engineering, product, and data science teams to deliver customer-facing solutions Tech Stack Python, Java, or Scala SQL Spark Airflow Modern cloud infrastructure Machine Learning & Generative AI What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code Passion for designing scalable backend systems Experience in collaborative, cross-functional environments Curiosity and pragmatism in solving difficult technical problems Background in data-intensive applications or distributed systems Bonus Points: Experience building production-ready machine learning products Familiarity with large-scale data pipelines Experience with high-volume APIs Background working with healthcare data or in regulated environments This Role Is a Great Fit If...
