We are looking for a Banking Systems Monitoring Operator / Analyst to join our Operations Support team and help ensure the continuous and reliable operation of critical banking applications and services.

This is a 24/7 operational role where you will monitor systems and banking processes, identify and investigate incidents, perform troubleshooting, and work closely with technical teams to keep production systems running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Monitor & Respond

• Continuously monitor critical banking applications, services, and processes in a 24/7 environment.
• Detect, classify, document, and escalate incidents and anomalies in a timely manner.
• Take ownership of escalated L1 incidents and perform deeper technical diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Coordinate high-priority incidents and involve the appropriate technical teams.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reporting.
  
  

Support Production Systems

• Monitor and support daily and monthly processing (EOD/EOM).
• Troubleshoot stalled batch processes and restart failed jobs.
• Investigate database performance issues, including locks, long-running sessions, and execution-time anomalies.
• Support card systems, payment systems, e-banking, and mobile banking channels.
• Perform approved production interventions, including service restarts, corrective actions, and execution of approved scripts.
• Support planned production changes and operational activities outside regular business hours when required.
  
  

Improve & Automate

• Create and maintain operational runbooks and procedures.
• Propose and implement new monitoring checks and thresholds to improve early detection.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and perform structured shift handovers.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to L1 operators.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Good understanding of SQL and practical experience with at least one database platform, such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, or Python sufficient for automating operational tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and work according to defined procedures.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure or urgent situations.
• Stable internet connection and suitable conditions for remote work.
  
  

Nice to Have

Experience or knowledge in any of the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:

• Application servers and messaging technologies such as IBM MQ or Kafka.
• Network troubleshooting — TCP/IP, DNS, ports, VPNs, certificates, connectivity, and latency.
• Monitoring tools and the ability to design and improve monitoring checks, rather than simply observe existing alerts.
• Linux/Unix administration, including service management, log analysis, resource troubleshooting, processes, and disk management.
• Experience working with high-availability production environments.
  
  

Working Model

• Full-time employment in a 24/7/365 shift-based operation.
• Rotating 8-hour shifts covering first, second, and third shift.
• Shifts are primarily performed remotely.
• During the first 3–6 months, employees are expected to work from the office during the first shift to support onboarding, training, and familiarization with operational processes.
• Occasional on-call duty outside the regular shift schedule, with additional compensation.
• Additional compensation for night shifts, Sundays, and public holidays, in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Medical examination provided for shift workers.
