Job Description

Help strengthen Rabobank's operational resilience by supporting Business Continuity Management and IT Recovery activities across business and technology domains. Contribute to recovery readiness for 9.5 million customers worldwide.

You & Your Function

Strengthen Rabobank's operational resilience as a Senior BCM & IT Recovery Expert by supporting Business Continuity Management and IT Recovery activities across technology domains. Work closely with business, IT, security, crisis-management and risk stakeholders to facilitate resilience initiatives, improve recovery readiness and translate continuity requirements into practical outcomes. From leading Business Impact Analysis workshops to coordinating recovery exercises, you help ensure the bank is prepared for disruption and recovery.

Examples for Practices

• Facilitate Business Impact Analysis workshops with IT stakeholders, identifying resource dependencies and continuity and availability requirements.
• Coordinate the development of business continuity strategies, Business Continuity Plans and IT Recovery Plans across technology domains.
• Translate exercise and testing results into measurable improvement actions that strengthen operational resilience capabilities.

• Drive Business Continuity Management and IT Recovery business-as-usual and change activities from planning and execution through continuous improvement and monitoring.
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment across business, technology, security, crisis-management and risk stakeholders to strengthen recovery preparedness and resilience.
• Coach BCM colleagues, increase awareness within the IT domain and support implementation of the Risk and Control Framework and related policies.

You & Your Talent

• Higher professional or academic working and thinking level.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Continuity Management and IT Recovery.
• Knowledge of and experience with risk management activities.
• Experience within environments with high availability requirements, such as vital sectors or critical infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to work effectively across technology domains.
• Excellent communication skills, service-oriented mindset and a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
