Position: Behavioral Healthcare Admissions Manager
Type: Salaried, Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year (base salary + performance bonuses)

Key Responsibilities:
- Take extreme ownership of the admissions function — inquiry through financial clearance, clinical handoff, and first-day arrival — so every client gets timely, compassionate access to care.
- Coach, motivate, schedule, and hold Admissions Counselors accountable for conversion, speed-to-respond, documentation quality, insurance/financial accuracy, and client experience.
- Hire, train, call-monitor, and performance-manage the Admissions Counselor team; step in and run the queue when volume spikes or staff are out.
- Oversee the full admissions workflow: screening, benefits/VOB, pre-admission clinical review coordination, bed/census matching, travel/arrival logistics, consents, and warm handoff to program, clinical, and medical teams.
- Partner with Outreach, Program leadership, Clinical, Nursing, UR, and Finance to convert referrals into appropriate residential and outpatient admissions and to protect census.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years behavioral health admissions, intake, or client-finance experience (preferred); 1–2+ years supervising or leading Admissions Counselors or a similar call-center / intake team (strongly preferred)
