Benefits Call Center Representative Job Location: Remote Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm ET Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour during training. $16 per hour for production, please note this rate may be below your state's minimum wage. Consider this when applying. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits Call Center Representative to support one of our employee benefits programs. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and communication related to health, retirement, leave, and other benefit offerings to include payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality employee support. Key Responsibilities: Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and leave programs Process enrollments, changes, terminations, and life event updates accurately and timely Maintain and update benefits data in HRIS and vendor systems Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits coverage, eligibility, claims, and policies Assist with open enrollment preparation and communication Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions Coordinate with benefits vendors and internal payroll/HR teams Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., COBRA, FMLA, ACA, ERISA) Prepare reports and perform audits to ensure data accuracy Always maintain confidentiality of employee information Required Qualifications: Experience in benefits administration or HR support preferred Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations Excellent data entry and analytical skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Core Competencies: Accuracy and compliance-driven mindset Problem-solving and analytical thinking Professionalism and confidentiality Ability to work independently and collaboratively Requirements: Be at least 18 years or older Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test. Must be knowledgeable with pension accounts (DB skills) Must have strong organization skills Must have excellent time management skills Must have strong customer service mindset with clear, professional communication and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
