Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually Job description: Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to manage and oversee benefits administration for multiple employers, insurance providers, and brokers. This position requires at least three years of progressive experience in benefits administration and a strong understanding of managing medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes. The ideal candidate will excel in benefits management, issue resolution, and supporting multiple stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Benefits Administration: Oversee benefits programs for multiple employers, ensuring smooth operations with various insurance providers and brokers. Manage medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, and other employee benefit programs. Act as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions, ensuring accurate and timely responses. Enrollment Management: Administer open enrollment and new hire enrollments, including compiling and verifying census data. Process benefits applications and ensure accurate submissions to carriers. Collaborate with Payroll Management to ensure proper payroll deductions are set up for benefits elections. Billing and Auditing: Audit monthly benefit provider invoices for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues. Process benefits invoices for timely payment. Leave Management: Process and track FMLA, STD, and LTD requests, maintaining accurate records of leave, time-off, and pay. Ensure compliance with FMLA and applicable regulations while supporting employees through the leave process. Compliance and Issue Resolution: Research and resolve benefits issues, collaborating with multiple employers, providers, and brokers to find solutions. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, and ERISA requirements. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all benefit-related activities, enrollments, and audits. Generate reports for management as needed to support decision-making and compliance efforts. Annual management and compliance of ACA reporting, including the preparation and submission of 1095 and 1094 documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to federal regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of three years of progressive experience in benefits administration. Comprehensive knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, and FMLA administration. Experience managing benefits for multiple employers, providers, and brokers is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle complex and multi-faceted responsibilities. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in benefits management systems, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
