Technology | Sofia

Help build the cloud infrastructure and engineering foundations behind Costa’s growing Data and AI capabilities.

At Costa Coffee, we are what we craft. We’re reimagining coffee experiences in over 50 countries and counting, as a key part of the Coca-Cola System. Whether customers enjoy their coffee in a store, from a machine, at home or on the go, we’ve got them covered

Our teams make a difference. Whether that’s developing new technology for the perfect pour, helping our teams grow, creating award-winning campaigns, crunching the numbers or developing the latest exciting menu item, together we stir up success.

We may be a global brand, but we haven’t forgotten our roots. Through the Costa Foundation and our wider community agenda, everyone at Costa can play a part in changing lives in coffee-growing communities and supporting their local community too.

We also want to help you grow through new experiences, development programmes and opportunities to take your career beyond day-to-day

As a Platform Engineer (Data & AI), you’ll be at the heart of the technology that powers our data platform. Working alongside our Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll help build, maintain and scale secure cloud infrastructure, automation and deployment pipelines that enable our Data Engineers and Data Scientists to do their best work.

  • Preferential rates on a Multisport Card for you and the family

We firmly support diversity, equity and inclusion and continue to work with our teams to shape the future of our culture and values: Disciplined to Deliver, Passion for Progress, Win with Warmth, Courage to Challenge and Trusted Team Players.

  • Applying Policy as Code to help keep deployments secure, compliant and aligned with enterprise standards
  • Configuring dashboards and alerts through Azure Monitor to provide clear visibility of platform health
  • Responding to platform alerts, troubleshooting pipeline failures and resolving infrastructure bottlenecks
  • Monitoring cloud usage and cost, supporting cleanup routines and implementing automated scaling
  • Supporting Data Engineers and Data Scientists with deployment, access and platform tooling issues
  • Taking ownership of technical tasks and user stories from the platform backlog
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations, as well as selected delivery partners
