We are seeking a proactive, business-minded BI Developer who is passionate about transforming data into valuable business insights. We are looking for someone with a hands-on mindset, strong analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach, who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What will be your roles and responsibilities?

• Analyse, evaluate, and refine business requirements, and support the creation of functional specifications
• Design solution plans, including creating mockups where applicable
• Develop dashboards and reports integrated with various business systems and data sources
• Design and create a semantic (gold) layer where applicable
• Participate in designing and developing company-level data marts
• Maintain regular communication with the Data Integration Team
• Train and onboard business users to ensure the correct and effective usage of reports and dashboards
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing reports, including bug fixing
• Manage access control and report permissions
• Create and maintain a company-wide report catalogue
• Work in close partnership with heavy data-reliant business units
• Participate in the development of the company-level data strategy

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a business, economics, or technical field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, report development, or BI development
• Fluent Hungarian and professional working English
• Advanced Power BI, intermediate Excel, intermediate SQL, and data modelling concepts

Nice to have experience with the following:

• Medallion architecture
• Azure platform
• Fabric platform
• dbt framework
• Source control (DevOps, Git)
• Deployment pipelines
• Demand management processes
• Permission management, row-level security
